HOW IT STARTED
A heartbreak in 2013 sparked a mission.
It all started in 2013 when Patty Giarrusso's heart broke after her two dogs, Jackson Browne and Rocko, went missing. Thankfully, they were found safe, but that experience sparked a mission.
She started the Lost and Found Pets 941 Facebook group, now 64,000+ members strong, and grew it into a full 501(c)(3) nonprofit run entirely by volunteers.

Today, Lost Pet Services reunites lost pets, funds veterinary care, and keeps pets and the people who love them together - all completely free.
Lexie
missing more than 110 days
"We can't thank you all enough for the many hours spent driving around, hanging signs and sharing this post. Nicole received a call from animal services this morning to bring Lexie home. Apparently, the nursing home behind the racetrack gas station, east of 75, had seen her around for the past couple of weeks. Animal services then set a trap last night and she was found in it this morning. She went to the vet first thing and Is very skinny! So thank you again!!!"
