River

River is a stunning female mixed breed that was found hiding in the thick brush terrified. For months she’s lived with her foster and they loved her, but sadly their senior dog was not happy to have her in their home. As hard as they tried to make it work, their old dog just wasn’t having it.

River's foster, Carl, worked hard to find her the perfect family. She now has a furry sibling named Panda and they look like they could be brother and sister. River was spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested (neg) by our friends at the Animal Rescue Coalition thanks to our Medical Assistance Program. We help many found pets receive this medical care when owners cannot be found before they are adopted into new homes.
